Construction
Measuring stand GL1 guides itself air-beared at the top face and the outer face of e.g. surface plate or measuring beam made of natural hardstone. Pre-clamping by vacuum grants a stiff guidance for transaction of the measuring tasks. Flatness of both guidance faces and their rectangularity should be within 0,005 mm.
Manual movement without abrasion and resistance. Launching precision of up to 1 µm / m can be achieved, when the reference faces are worked in the corresponding precisions. For clamping off the measuring stand the air bearings will be switched off. For operation an air-vacuum-unit, provided with pre-filtered compressed air min. 5 bar, is necessary.
Cross arm and the fixture of the measuring probe can adjusted separately. With fine adjustment at the fixture and hole 8 mm for dial indicator or electronic probe.
