Construction
The mechanic assembly incl. tailstocks bodies are made of granite - natural hardstone. The workpiece is either beared on precision roller boogies or between the two centres. A roller-beared slide with cross-quill, equipped with different probes, is aligned parallel to the axis of the workpiece. The computerized length measurement system allows absolute and incremental measurements as well as determination of diameters and centre-points.
